BRIDGING ORAL AND SYSTEMIC HEALTH

Welcome to the Dent2Health conference 2024!

A conference with focus on bridging oral and systemic health. The oral microbiome, innovative treatments for type 2 diabetes and the association between periodontitis and systemic diseases are some of the topics that will be highlighted during this day. This is a great opportunity to network and discuss research, innovation and collaborations.
The conference is part of the Dent2Health initiative, an initiative managed by Medeon Science Park.

The Dent2Health initiative encompasses three key focus areas:

  • Development of a screening tool, based on oral biomarkers, for type 2 diabetes.
  • A fundamental objective of Dent2Health is to stimulate increased collaboration between dental care and primary care, promoting an interdisciplinary approach and holistic patient care.
  • Establishing a research and innovation hub with a central focus on exploring the connections between oral and systemic health.
